Below is an example of how you would build an audience if you were an automotive dealer looking to target buyers in your area.

1. Begin by selecting your client, then click Create a Custom Audience.

2. Next, you’ll begin building your audience based on desired audience attributes. By toggling through the categories on the left sidebar, you’ll see different data selections. For example, the Geographics tab will allow you to refine by location while the Automotive tab lets you categorize your audience by information such as vehicle type and intent to purchase a new vehicle.

3. As you select audience attributes, below is how they will appear to the right of your screen. In this example, we are an automotive dealer who is looking to purchase individuals in New Jersey who make a household income of $100,000 to $149,999 and who are planning to purchase a vehicle.

Note: When selecting audience attributes, be sure to click Add. You will see your selects appear on the right side of the screen once added.

4. Once you are happy with your audience selection, click Get Audience. You will then be prompted to name your audience and provide a description (optional). Audience name and description should NOT include special characters or line breaks. Once you’ve named it, click Save.

5. This is how your results will appear. You will see the total audience on the left-hand side, and then breakouts of your audience below according to age, gender, and income.

To the right of your results, you will once again be shown your audience selections. Above that, you have the option to add an existing client list by clicking Add Suppression File
