Step-by-step guide to automate campaign reporting.
Keeping track of campaign performance doesn’t have to be a manual task. With our Report Scheduler tool, you can automate the delivery of key insights and send them directly to you or your clients.
Here’s how to set up and automate your email reports:
Step 1:
Log in to Connect. Click Reports on the side bar, then Report Scheduler.
Step 2:
To automate a new report, click the plus icon (+) at the far right corner of the screen.
Enter Smart Campaign ID & Users
Step 3:
Under the Recipients section, you’ll need to indicate the following:
- Recipient Type
- Smart Campaign
- You will need pull the Order ID number for this step.
- Users
- Do NOT use the recipient box.
Step 4:
Once you’ve added your users, you may see the following options:
- Enable EZ Login: This sends a link in your automated report email, allowing the user to log into their dashboard by simply clicking the link.
- Send EZLogin without attachment: Turning this on means the email for this report will instead include an active EZLogin link for the timeframe and client/client group selection on this report.
Note: If you are seeing these options greyed out after adding users, you will first need to fill in dashboard details under the Format & Content section (step 7). Then, you can go back to the top and turn these on.
Scheduling
Step 5:
Next, select your preferred cadence for automatic sends:
- Send Cadence
- We recommend setting automatic reports to be sent daily.
- Stop Sending Reports Date
- To calculate campaign end date, take campaign start date and add 12 days.
- Reporting Date Range
- You may choose from our preset date ranges or select custom dates.
Step 6:
Next to the Scheduling section, you’ll see this table, which outlines your automatic send dates and the date ranges included in each send.
- This will update depending on your chosen send cadence and data ranges for your data.
Report Format
Step 7:
Here you can choose how you want your report to be formatted.
Please select:
- Email Report Type
- File Format
- Subject Line
- File Name
Note: Both the PBE Dashboard and the EP Dashboard are now available.
When automating report sends, make sure to select the correct dashboard based on whether your campaign was run through EP or PBE.
Step 8:
Once you’ve provided all the required information, click Save, and your reports will be automatically delivered to your recipients at the cadence of your choosing.
Step 9:
After saving, you have the option to send the report immediately or send a preview to the user of your choice.
Step 10:
This is how active report links will be sent when the EZLogin box is checked to send “without an attachment.”
